The Queendom of Aveca (also called Aveca, or The Winelands) is a region of Ocera . The mostly human population that inhabits Aveca are called Avecans. It's notable for its miles-long, magically made wall that stretches across the Queendoms northern border, seperating it from Orkurt. 

Geographical Features 

Aveca sits between the Gem Wall and the Athair Mountains. The forest of Scarfer's Pines is also considered part of the Queendom. Most of central Aveca is fertile plains with many small villages and farms throughout. The southern tail of the Everpeaks forms Aveca's southern most border. The large lake, the Ved'ma Lok, forms part of Avecas northern border as well. A small river called The White River forms the western border with New Nordstrand. The eastern region of the Queendom is called Scarfer's Pines. This region is a lush forest of evergreens and provides the realm a bounty of lumber and other wood products.

History

Bardic Traditions

Old Aveca had a deep and rich bardic and scholastic culture that valued the preservation and attaining of knowledge. Vast libraries and large schools were built over much of the old Queendom. These bardic traditions have lived through Avecans to this day.  When the Orks of the North Frost invaded and sacked Old Aveca, The Greatest Library That Ever Was met its firey fate. 

Sacking of Old Aveca

The Sacking of Old Aveca, and all the knowledge that its libraries held, caused the formation of The Avecan Rangers , who go beyond the Gem Wall and search ruins for Old Avecan knowledge and artifacts.
