Chimera

We've lost five of our best hunters this last week, and all to the same damn beast. All at once, too.

Among the forest and its many creatures, there is one that all should avoid above anything else, for even ogres and manticores avoid the wrath of the chimera.
They stand massive, reaching an easy ten to twelve feet when on all fours, able to fell a horse and his rider with one swoop of its massive taloned paws. Combine its height and strength with its pointed antlers, razor-sharp teeth, and 180 degree peripheral vision due to its third eye, and the chimera is truly one of the most terrifying beasts to encounter in the forest.
