In 1408 a settlement in the northern woods was attacked by a group of human individuals, burning down the village, pillage and raping all the women. A result of this, Damoira Yaeldrin was with child, as well as the lone survivor. She fled into the woods, living of the nature and learning how to survive.
In 1409 Gael was born in the wild. Nurtured and grown. At an age of 7 she began teaching him to fight, hunt and as well different languages she thought he would need. At the age of 15 his mother died from an infection after an encounter with a bear. The same bear Gael managed to kill with his handaxe. He still has the bears tooth around his neck for remembrance
