Gostun Eremi is ex-regent of the Onoguria and advisor of the underage heir of the throne Kardam. He strongly supports the concept that the ruler should be amongst the people and hear their needs and desires first-handed. When young khan finally sat on the throne, Gostun continues to serve as an ambassador and representative of Onoguria at different occasions and events.
Gostun led the cavalry during the recent war with Rekhal Kaisereich and were able to achieve some famous victories. He strongly supports the idea that the true front commander must lead his troops personally on the battlefield and not to hide behind their lines. However, he almost forced the khan to stay back and be part of rear command. This actually didn't conflict with his beliefs as Gostuns points that he by himself is a leader and front commander that can easily attract the troops. On the other side khan Kardam is not exactly a great warrior, but there are no doubts in his tactical genius.
He is in charge of the Onogurian delegation of the meeting of the Kingdoms when decision of sending an Expedition to the Western Continent is made, and volunteered to represent his country there. Many brethrens from his clan and from army unit he had lead, volunteered after him. Due to poor financial status of Onoguria after the recent war and natural disasters, Gostun almost entirely financed Onoguria's participation in the Expedition from his family's wealth. This almost bankrupted him, but the kavhan is completely dedicated to his country and people.
Gostun debarked for the Western Continent in hope to find what happened to the Onogurian Expeditional forces loaned to the Holy Alliance during The Last War. When he and his horsemen arrived, they were tasked with escorting caravans, guarding routes, and act mobile task force. Onogurian cavalry soon proves why is labelled as the best in Sarak. They tireless repel any attack to Expedition's sites, encampments, caravans, convoys, and members from any sources - monsters, bandits, smugglers, pirates, cultist and so. That recently led to coordinate strike against horsemen performed by several bandit formations, aimed to destroy or cripple the Onogurian unit. Intruders caught in action and completely crushed in the followed battle, but not before the manage to damage or destroy some of the equipment and armament, and drive away riding animals. The expedition's command started a campaign to replenish the loses its take time.
Now Gostun is searching faster way to re-arm and re-equip his brethren. However, they still carry on their task an even dismounted.
