History

The Dwarves have lived in the Durnhalla mountains longer than the mountains have lived. Their ancient history is largely legend, telling of their creation of both the enormous mountain range they now live in, and a cavernous underworld below. Since the Great magic war, and the migration of both humans and goblins, the dwarves have been consistently mistreated and robbed of their native homelands. The dwarves received the harshest consequences in the Great war, and both of the Goblin-Dwarvish wars. As such they continue to harbor a deeep mistrust for all humanity, a hatred of goblins and wizards, and a total abhorrence for the wizardry, who oversaw the execution of several thousand Dwarvish soldiers during the Great war.
