Large venomous wolves used to roam the Ayara plains, only cleared out later by mass-colonization.

Basic Information

Anatomy

A large, furless body shaped like a wolf or large dog, with a smooth, reflective head and a large, thick skull. The canine teeth on these creatures secrete venom, and store enough at any given time to kill 10 men.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Feeding on the large herbivores of the plains, these creatures relied on ripping and poisoning the webbed sides of the Cashgogo, then crawling inside its webbed enclosure and eating it from the mouth outward.

Social Structure

Hunted in packs, containing two leaders who would first enter the web enclosure of the Cashgogo during a hunt the leaders are replaced often, and chosen by dominance. The leader who can win fights with his rivals, (and hence survive their venom) develops stronger venom.
