Sarcor follows a story similar to Earth, but also nothing alike. The planet orbits a powerful star called Ytas, 873 times the size of Sarcor. In the beginning of the planets life it was covered in vast jungles covering every stretch of the land and great oceans blooming with reefs. It was the perfect opportunity for life, and so life arose. Animals of every shape and size roamed the lands and swam in the seas. No other planet could match it for the kind of diverse ecosystem that had grown over many billions of years. Around the start of the middle of Sarcor's life, nature gave product to a new type of animal, The Huma. Huma are extremely intelligent bipedal ape like creatures. They evolved and developed for millions of years, and adapted smooth lavender pigmented skin, with silk white hair and two arms and two legs. The Huma Colonized the planet, got more technologically advanced and created a great empire to rule over all. It was a great empire, with a group of 6 leaders representing each part of the world. Things were overall rather peaceful on Sarcor, there was not much dispute between leaders and the vast majority of the citizens prospered. But times change, and a big change was coming to Sarcor. An unknown moon sized explosion occurred within the solar system not far from the planet, pushing its orbit off balance. No-one could have seen this coming or guessed what happened. Many describe seeing a massive blast of blue light and energy soar through the sky and feeling the ground shake. After a hundred years the effects of this event began to appear. The planet was on a permanent course to circle Ytas closer and closer until eventually it would be scorched to a molten ball of rock and absorbed into the star. The Jungles turned to forests, and forests to deserts. The oceans slowly evaporated into unimaginably huge dry, cracked beds of mud-like soil. The 6 Leaders of the Empire had to do something quick before the planet would become uninhabitable. They created a plan called "Hope Express", The Idea was to band all Huma together as one, to combine work and resources to create a massive spaceship capable of exporting most the planets population into space to find and colonize a new world. The whole world was inspired by this great plan to get a firm grasp on the bright future of the species. Throughout those 50 years a massive underground facility was created to house the vessel and construction began. The Smartest Engineers and the Most Advanced Technology helped the ship reach near completion in 49 years, a year less than predicted. The Ship was only 3 months away from completion when disaster struck. A New, despicable Leader had arose. Because of the time it took to build the ship all of the 6 previous leaders had passed away, and it there place came Arturus Blue. He was a extremely popular and accomplished politician and was voted to be made into the Empire's Leader. Arturus had a different plan for society, he believed that with the huge RPS (Ray Protective Shield) domes that had been constructed over the 6 cities, the Huma could survive on the planet for millions more years without worry of Ytas. He didn't think that the orbital pattern of the planet would continue to move forwards into the sun but instead would correct itself and orbit normally. With those who knew the truth of what was coming dead or crippled with age, he got to work. He sealed the Hope Express in its underground facility and removed anything relating to it or about it from history books, libraries and data vaults. Those who opposed him were arrested and sent off the facilities within the barren desert known as the graylands. Here they would perform labor for the government until they died. Because of the changes made years ago all the power had now been centralized to Arturus. He was a ruthless dictator hidden behind the mask of a peaceful ruler who was simply removing criminals from the streets to benefit all of humakind. After just 10 years under his rule the whole world had changed, yet nothing changed at all. Practically every person on the planet had no clue what was going on, they just believed that society had returned to normal and the once prosperous and great empire was up and running again. But some did know, Some had stolen intelligence from off the record data storages about what had happened. And some had knowledge of space and of the orbital catastrophe that was Sarcor. They stayed under the radar and never opposed the government. 15 years after the transfer of power, the ones know knew banded together to create the "Hope Catchers", a secret society dedicated to devising a plan to save humanity.
