Session 20
As most of the party disappears the merchant dwarf and samo both go ballistic over the current situation. The dwarf is yelling at alkinn, samo, and Izen about the very important item they took from them and Samo starts to panic as he says he can't lose the party and he needs to look after him. The whole team in the wasteland has no clue what to do because the other disappeared, do they continue on or do they wait and see if they come back. As the darkness starts to appear on the horizon the group of four decide to continue heading toward the city of jotrington, hoping that they will be there when the group gets there. A day and a half passed and the the wasteland team starts to see the large mountains surrounding the city of jotrington, they start to quicken their paces as hope finally arrives in their hearts. As the day continues and as the get closer Alkinn notices that they were stumbling upon a scene of disaster. Dwarvish armaments have been partially destroyed and someone yell out and tells them to beware of the dragon. Samo then alerts the team that a dragon is coming their way. Sure Enough a medium green dragon can be seen soaring in the sky and stalking the team, suddenly is swoops down and a battle commonsense. With fireballs and spells being cast toward the dragon but all seems lost as the dragon starts to overpower the two battlers. Suddenly a large what seems to be another dragon appears out of thin air. The three then start to over power the lone dragon and the Coutal heals the other two adventures. Eventually The battle is won while the new dragon seems to disappear out of thin air. The dragon tells alkinn as it dies that they are the chosen champion and it unleashed a large wave of magic from within it.
As the Team in the desert starts to head toward the dwarvish capital on a free caravan from the dwarves, the other part of the team appears from the other side of the door. In Front of them is a large city scape, a city that spans all of their views. The door that they walked through seemed to shrink into a pocket sized door that they could carry. They party seemed to be in what looked like a room of sorts and on the walls were pictures of lerswe and other what seemed to be associates. The party searches the room and fins some money but that seems to be it. They decided to move on and when walking through the hallway they come across an old man sitting on a chair. He asks if they wear Lerswe, and with some poor deception he tells them to explain why they were there. They try to just leave the old man alone but it seems like he traped them in the halway, the doors in them just led to the same hallway! Tymus and wild attempt to force the man to let them go and they are launched through a door into the sky! The same goes for the other but they seemed to be less violent about it. The Group lands next to a large what seems to be a huge church.The party soon realizes that they are in the largest city in the world Sarnapt, and that they are standing in front of the largest church of the world a church that worships almost all of the gods. The party looks for a way to go back to jotrington but it seems like all the possible ways are blocked or dangerous, the party heads back to the large church to maybe find answer
The party starts to investigate the church and try to see if there might be a way to get back toward the city to jotrington. Out of curiosity Lazarus askes one of the clerks if they can tell them about a religious they saw on samo's necklace. The Clerk tells them that the high priest might know something about it and leads them toward the office. While traveling to the office they notice a section of the church that had been what seemed abandoned and noticed a familiar figure, just out of curiosity lazarus lights the candle under the stature of darpon and a gust of wind was felt around him. Carrying on and worrying that they had seemed to do something bad Lazarus inquires with the high priest about the symbol. He learns that it was very rare to see the symbol and the high priest was very curious about the symbol. The priest offers the team to get them back to their wanted location only if a cleric can come with them, with what seems to be a good deal the team accepts the deal. The high priest tells them that the teleportation circle would be ready in the afternoon.
The party decides to explore some of the city and do some more research. After some searching the party hears a very familiar tune being played on a flute. Muta realizes that it's darpon sitting on a stool enjoying a cup of tea, but as soon as darpon realizes that the party stands in front of him, he spits out his tea in a surprised manner. As the party seems somewhat confused about why Darpon of all people were in Sarnapt, Tymus sees that everyone seems to have a scared look on their face. Thinking that the person sitting in front of them was a wimp he tries to threaten darpon to leave them alone. Suddenly Tymus runs away in terrified scream, lazarus runs after him trying to calm him down. Muta attempts to leave but then she finds herself sitting next to the table with darpon. Darpon talks to her like a friend trying to catch up on what they have been up to, offers her a sip of tea telling her it's not poisoned just that he wanted to talk. Muta takes a sip out of it and tries to play along, trying to get as much information out of him as possible. Darpon avoids questions and offers muta a deal to get back with her party, knowing that his deals always ends up deadly they refuse his offer, and with that they leave the meanasing darpon. They go to the church and prepare for the teleportation.
