Aurochs

Generally docile, the ancient ancestor to the modern cow and bison. Very large, hairy, and prone to stampedes when frightened.

As the settlement of Luthal grew and agriculture become more widespread, hunting of the Aurochs turned to domestication. Aurochs are now used as cattle and work animals by many throughout the Basin.
