Tempeste
A magnificent city of marble and stone, floating above the Brimdover Sea.
Demographics
Races: The races that preside in Tempeste are predominantly human and dwarven. Dwarves help maintain the stoneworks of the city, while humans are mostly the merchants of the town. Clusters of more uncommon species reside here, but are rather well... uncommon.
Working ClassThe class system of this city is quite even. Everyone who lives here is quite wealthy, while some stand above the rest, the vast majority of people here are merchants, and this is a quite lavish city. The people who aren't merchants either serve some pivotal role in the society (Miners, Artisns, Blacksmiths), or they are just incredibly rich and live there because who wouldn't want to live in a flying city.
Government
Tempeste is a merchant's haven. It is run by a group of wealthy merchant's who call the shot's around the city.
Defences
Ballistas are mounted all around the city, and the guards are all trained to use flying whales as war beasts. Guards are hired to protect the city as there is no real government. People often come from different lands to work in the Tempeste Army, as they are compensated fairly by the owners of the city, and get the honor of living here as well.
Infrastructure
The water supply in this town is harvested form the moisture in the air, and aqueducts flow throughout the city, and dump any remaining water into the sea. Waste water is cleansed by a device within the city, and clean salt water is sent back down to the sea underneath.
Assets
A giant marketplace, a blacksmith, an oddities store, a potion seller, pretty much anything you can think of can be found here, just ask around.
Architecture
The entire city is built atop a giant rock cluster. Massive marble walls and buildings are everywhere, and the buildings sort of spiral upwards, with the highest point in the city being in the middle.
