Kerrdrasyl

(a.k.a. Chainsplitter)

Too many were terrified of death. Kerrdrasyl sought to help alleviate people’s minds. They may not be able to comprehend what comes after, but they could be taught to lose their fear of the unknown. Kerrdrasyl’s chains are twofold, one white to represent life, the other black for death. The break in this chain shows the white chain losing your attachment to life and the black chain losing your fear of death. Chainsplitter is a god of death in her own way, one that shows bravery.
Where most would assume a god of death is inherently evil, Kerrdrasyl shows warmth. Though, she is less a god of death, and more the god of life that guides the passed to their next destination safely.
Daughter of the god of death, Kerrdrasyl wanted better for humanity. She quickly embodied herself as the god of life, to counteract what she saw needed fixing. Where her mother, Termendia, was the hook to yank people into the afterlife, Kerrdrasyl was the soft net to catch them. She wanted to reassure everyone that what comes next is not something to be unnerved by.
