Dragon’s Path

The Kindred of Beijing spent several centuries developing the Way of the Dragon and the Dragon’s Path. Although the covenants are not part of the Ordo Dracul, their followers were influenced by Dracula’s ideas in the early 20th century. Rites of the Dragon is an extraordinarily popular book, though critical interpretation varies substantially from the West.

The Dragon’s Path teaches Kindred to methodically detach from the Beast’s hunger and the troubles that come with it. Devout followers of the Path feed exclusively from blood banks and corpses, something which becomes harder and harder as they age. Eating directly from living donors strengthens the Beast’s power over them. Eating from the Kindred is even worse. The Masters at the Academy teach the Path. Slightly less blood-bonding foolishness and diablerie to deal with.

Both groups insist they’ve mastered a Mystery that was previously unknown. Neither group will explain further.
