On the ruins of a large Pre-Rifts city in Canada is the thriving city of Lazlo, a place of magic, reason, and knowledge. All creatures are welcome. All philosophies are discussed. There are schools, a university of learning, a university of magic, a dozen libraries, museums, art, history, and law, as well as industry and science.
