T'lan Imass
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Imass were believed to be the predecessors to humans and most of the humanoid races. They resemble human bone and anatomical structure, though notably quite short and squat and with a large brow ridge compared to most in modern times. The T'lan Imass are the skeletal remains of those lost peoples, often only dust on the wind.

History
The T'lan Imass are believed to be the only remnants of the Imass. Long ago the Imass were said to have been dying off in some sort of mass conflict and chose to undertake an immense ritual to become undead. Whatever ritual of "T'lan" has long since been lost to history, and their motivations if any for still being in the world are unkown.
