The Holy Tongue

The Holy Tongue was created by the Clándhia as they developed into the leading culture of Degheich. They spread it across the world and into the Pèokáme clans. It was later replaced by the Global Tongue - cróil téense. Nowadays, the Holy Tongue is only used among the Clándhia and especially for religious purposes in the The Faith of the Eight  and magic spells. Additionally, some terms have been developed so long ago that they appear and are used in other languages as well. 
The Holy Tongue is the oldest languge in Degheich and apart from the religious scriptures, many historical documents are written in it. Studying the early history of Degheich is only possible, if one speaks the Holy Tongue.

Unique Features

The Holy Tongue uses accents on every other vowel, which distinguishes it from all other languages in Degheich, as it is the only languge that uses ' and .
