Apseldian Bardic College
The Apseldian Bardic College teaches music and it also teaches musical wizardry better known as bardic magic.
The maical portion of the Bardic College has about a half a dozen instructors and about twenty students at any given time. The mundane music side has about ten instructors and thirty students at any given time.
The College was founded with a grant by the Lanterns, and the College is very Zarthus friendly but they are fully autonomous and not formally tied to Zarthus or the Lanterns.
Alumni usually stay in contact and this gives the College some political influence mainly through the fact that they can spread songs praising people they like and mocking people they don't like. Mocking songs are far more. No one on the Council wants to find themselves the subject of a farcical song because it can be spread throughout all of Apseldia in a matter of days.
