Dame Balwina Palbuc
Dame Balwina Palbuc
Last true born child of Duke Eduard Palbuc II the Strong.
Lady Balwina was a tomboy as child and like more than a few Palbuc women who were tomboys, she grew up to be holy warrior of Hallisan.
Balwina was a skilled warrior and anointed, but she relied on her mundane skills and never developed her theurgy to a high level. It is rumored she was partially excommunicated for slipping from Hallisan's ideals and that is why she never developed her theurgy very far.
She was openly an elitist and had a poor reputation among the commoners as a result. She wasn't outright cruel, but she made it clear that she was above them. She was more interested in personal glory than in chivalrous ideals.
Unlike most Palbuc holy women, Balwina was not celibate and ended up marrying another highborn Guardian, she had one child, a daughter who also grew up to be a Guardian but chose to be a scholar and a blacksmith rather than a knight.
