The Roots of the Divine Rebellion

Before the world existed as mortals know it, there was simply Turoch, and fire, water, wind and earth with ambient magical energy flowing in between them. Turoch was alone with nothing but his great hunger as a constant companion, so he sought about creating the universe to assuage his hunger and perhaps, to assuage his loneliness.   Turoch sang a song of creation to stitch together the four original elements to create a world which he filled with mortals, so he could draw sustenance by feeding on their souls. The mortal plane was peaceful and idyllic but all of mortalkind was nothing more than lambs for the slaughter. No mortal soul was safe from Turoch's endless hunger.   Turoch grew fat and lazy grew lazy managing his world farm, so he created some more powerful servants to manage the mortals for him and feed him. These are known as the Ten: Maylar, Mera, Korus, Nami, Greymoria, Khemra, Zarthus, Hallisan, Phidas and the tenth who is nameless.   Turoch knew that his servants did not possess true loyalty and that they did not enjoy their task, but he behaved as if he was untouchable. Perhaps Turoch believed that the Ten were too different in personality and outlook to oppose him. Many of the Ten disliked each other as much as they disliked their master. or perhaps he believed he was too powerful to oppose.   It was wise who Korus planted the seed of rebellion against the maker and destroyer of all and gathered the Ten in secret.

"My Brothers, my sisters, Turoch's hunger is quite boundless but his trust is quite narrow. I foresee one day, soon or far, Turoch's pragmatism will out weigh his sloth and he will consume us, then create servants to replace us. Then in time, sume and replace them. If we do not all stand together against him, we will all be destroyed and this cycle of misery will continued unabated.

I concur with Korus. The souls of mortalkind deserve better than this facade of peace and tranquility that just set them all up like lambs to the slaughter.

I concur with Korus. Turoch does not possess of loyalty or appreciation for us and would consume us without hesitating as soon as he finds us inconvenient

I concur with Mera, Korus, and Greymoria. This system of slaughter is a mockery of order. We can build a better system for the world than our so-called master. I'm also not going to pretend I am not concerned about being consumed.

I concur with all that is said. Risk or not, we cannot afford inaction at this stage. With the current state of Creation, any change is beneficial change.

I agree with Nami. Now is the time for action. We are strong and Turoch is fat and lazy. Turoch cannot stand against my might, our might.

I concur agree with Nami as well. Creation cannot no longer tolerate Turoch's tyranny. Will defeat him or be destroyed trying for if we do nothing, we will still be destroyed.

I agree with Mera, this cycle of suffering end. Reluctantly, I agree with Maylar. We are strong and Turoch. The monster will fall, and we will build a better world on the ashes of the old.

I reluctantly agree with Greymoria, we have no choice but to overthrow Turoch for he will show us no mercy whether we obey him or whether we rebel. If we are already condemned, we may as well commit the treason.
The Tenth of their number, the Nameless Traitor pretended to go along with the Nine's planned Rebellion but plotted to betray them to Turoch in the hopes of being the only one spared.
