Fourth child and third son of Count Anatol Palbuc V and Countess Otylia of Palbuc. He was named for his ancestor Revered Father Agaton Palbuc and theoretically Duke Agaton Palbuc II.
Not especially physically gifted but very bright, his mother talked his father into sponsoring him for a wizarding apprenticeship.
