Sir Eduard Palbuc

Second son of Duke Gawell Palbuc the Ranger, he was named for his ancestor Duke Eduard Palbuc the Grim He was a powerful warrior but not very chivalrous warrior. He was a bully, an extortionist and on more than one occasion, a rapist.
His family surname protected him from many of the consequences of his actions...for a while.
After it became increasingly difficult to sweep his indiscretions under the rug, Eventually the nobles of Fumaya managed to force/trick him into volunteering for a dangerous quest in the The Great Colassian Tundra which he wasn't expected to survive. Against all odds, her survived and returned a hero.
He was reluctantly made one of the King's knights. The king and various dukes flung Sir Eduard at things he needed ruthlessly crushed. He had enough treasure from his quest he no longer need to extort the peasants, and he had enough money for brothels that he no longer was tempted to engage in non-consensual sex, but he was still barely tolerated and widely disliked.
He never married but sired more than a few bastards.
