Personal history
Apparently abandoned by his previous owner (or the owner was killed/abducted), he wandered in the jungle trying to survive. One night, he came across a trio of travelers, camping in the jungle. He approached cautiously, and the kind travelers tossed him some food. They offered him more food, and he came forward, and then was showered with pets, belly rubs, and more food.
He may decide to stick around. These folks seem pretty nice.
Education
He knows two tricks: Sit, and Shake.

Rather simplistic, being a dog. Protect the pack, love the pack.
