The Kingdom of Dailinor is the fallen kingdom of the Dail people.
The Kingdom was already greatly weakened by the Phan invaders due to inept rulers and corrupt and profiteering nobles.
The imperial invasion has only dealt the final blow to the kingdom, which has fallen apart into a great deal of factions and feuds.
The kingdom of Dalinor was very prosperous, since the Dail people were excellent sailors and merchants, but the heavy taxes and thefts of the nobles made the trade less and less profitable. For many merchants and sailors, the invasion of the Phan Empire only replaced one oppressor for another.
