**The Red Cloaks**

The history of the Manti Rossi originates less than a century ago, in a time of change and turmoil in the Principality of Lupa. The Manti Rossi Academy of Magic was founded by a group of devoted mages seeking magical knowledge and enlightenment beyond the boundaries imposed by the dominant religion, represented by the Church of Melethis, the god of Magic.
At the time of its founding, the Academy was a niche institution, viewed with suspicion and contempt by Melethis faithful and religious authorities. However, its reputation has grown over the years due to the academic successes of its students and the reputation for excellence of its faculty. Despite the difficulties and adversities encountered along the way, the Manti Rossi have persevered in their commitment to promoting the study of magic as an academic and scientific discipline, rather than as a mere tool of religious worship.

The rivalry and hostility between the Manti Rossi and followers of Melethis have increased over the years, with open conflicts and rivalries leading to constant tensions between the two factions. However, the Manti Rossi remained determined to pursue their goals of knowledge and academic freedom, despite pressures and threats from outside.
Despite the difficulties, the Manti Rossi have continued to grow in number and influence, attracting more and more students eager to study magic outside of religious constraints. The founding of the Academy of the Manti Rossi marked a turning point in the history of magic in the Principality of Lupa, opening up new avenues of research and study that would lead to significant discoveries and innovations in the field of magic.
Despite their growing popularity and influence, the Manti Rossi continue to be frowned upon by followers of Melethis and supporters of the prevailing religious cult. However, they have not been intimidated by threats and persecution, continuing to fight to defend their academic freedom and promote the study of magic as an art and science accessible to all, regardless of their religious affiliation.

***The Spire:***

The Red Cloak organization is led by a council of students and alumni of the Red Cloak Academy of Magic. This council is made up of influential and respected members within the academy, with a Head of Studies who chairs meetings and coordinates the organisation's activities. The Spire meets regularly to discuss academy policies, initiatives to promote the study of magic outside the confines of the Melethis religion, and to plan actions to protect the interests of students.

***The Current Situation:***

Currently, the Redcloaks are facing a variety of challenges and opportunities. On the one hand, they seek to maintain the independence of the academy and promote the study of magic outside of religious restrictions. On the other hand, they are involved in the defense of the Principality of the Lupa as part of the Prince's Lance, thus demonstrating their commitment to the security and defense of the nation.

***Important Members of the Redcloaks:***

Among the most important members of the Redcloaks are:

**Daniele Mastrogil** the Head of Studies, a wizard of great experience and wisdom at the head of the Rocca del Fuoco.

**Theresia Montpellier** Rector of the Academy, who fled the kingdom of Sarleris as a child and is determined to assert herself in the world of magic.

Additionally, some of the academy's brightest students have demonstrated exceptional talent in magic. Each member of the Red Cloaks wears a distinctive red cloak, symbolizing their membership in the organization.

***Locations and Resources:***

The Redcloaks have access to several locations and resources in and around Cordelia. The academy building itself is their main headquarters, where they hold their meetings, conduct magical experiments, and offer courses of study for those who wish to learn magic. Additionally, they have a castle in the Hellfire Mountains, which they use as a safe haven and laboratory for advanced research in magic.
**Castle of the Redcloaks in the Hellfire Mountains:** This castle, known as the Fire Keep, is located on a steep, rocky cliff on the slopes of the Hellfire Mountains. It has been refurbished and enhanced with magical protection spells to ensure the safety of students and organization members. Inside the castle, there are magical laboratories, libraries with ancient texts, and training rooms for practicing spells and magical combat techniques. The Rocca del Fuoco also serves as a strategic observation point to monitor the surrounding area and coordinate any defense actions against external threats.
