With a vast coalition of peoples and races gathered under the banner of Emperor Huwon the Bright, the forces of light begin to make significant progress against the darkness. The enormous war machine, composed of legions of soldiers, wizards, and flying ships, proves formidable. The Liberation of Key Cities: Imperial troops and their allies liberate cities and territories that had been corrupted by the Darkness. These early victories strengthen faith in the Great Crusade and demonstrate that the Darkness can be defeated. The Encounter with the Dark Factions: Along their journey, the forces of light clash with the dark factions that had taken control of some regions. The terrible power of the Demons seems to make the crusade falter, epic clashes occur, but the unity of the coalition is the key to prevail. The Rebirth of Hope: Many who had lost hope now believe in the possibility of victory. Stories of heroes and saviors are told, and people join together in prayer and celebration, thanking their gods for their progress. In 1032 NE, when it seems that the coalition is on the path to victory, Crown Prince Jihen becomes corrupted under the influence of the Darkness. After killing his father, Jihen assumes the imperial throne and announces a retreat from the Great Crusade. He returns with the army to Alasia, abandoning the millions of soldiers and flying ships that were ready to fight.The Division of the Peoples (1032 - 1042 NE)
The news of Jihen's betrayal spreads like a ray of light in the darkness. The people of Valenor are shocked and disappointed. Without a unifying leader and with division among themselves, many communities begin to fall into the hands of dark forces. Tensions arise between the different races and kingdoms, and the hope of uniting the continent seems to fade.The Renewed Commitment (Year 1042 NE)
Despite disillusionment and division, some heroes emerge. Legendary figures and charismatic leaders begin to rally the remaining forces and restore faith in the Great Crusade. The resistance against the Darkness organizes itself independently in the various kingdoms and among the different races.The Progressive Reconquest (1042 - 1050 NE)
A series of battles and excursions begins to regain the territories that have fallen into the hands of darkness. Some groups of heroes manage to defeat the forces of Darkness in small battles, but it is a grueling fight. Many kingdoms and cities remain in the hands of dark forces, and the war continues.The Dark Emperor (Year 1050 NE)
Jihen, now known as the Dark Emperor, has subjugated Alasia and much of the empire. He has become a pawn in the hands of dark beings, losing all trace of his true identity. He continues to oppress the population and expand his dominion over him.The Rebirth of Hope (1050 - 1060 NE)
