DIAMANTEA, THE SHINING CITY

The Shining City, where the Princes of Hansa have sat for 4 centuries is a work of art, in which generations of Princes have built villas, palaces and temples rivaling each other in opulence and splendor.

Diamantea initially stood on a small island in the Dark Sea, intended only as a palace where the Princes could meet in a territory neutral to their disputes. The city grew rapidly; first with the palaces of the princes themselves, then with shops and services for the benefit of the nobles and their entourage, and then grew out of all proportion when, whoever had enough money and interests to be in the place where political decisions are made, made Diamantea the his house.
