SCP stands for Secure, Contain, Protect and the taskforce is about protecting the world and capturing anomalies.   The SCP Foundation is a secretive organization trusted by governments and timekeepers that deals with anomalous or supernatural items and entities away from the eyes of the public.   Your accomplishments of dealing with the unknown has been noticed.
