Duraplas

Duraplas is a plastic alloy used in the crafting of passageways and other structures aboard space vessels. Despite the name, the material is a metal alloy that once made can be printed through a blow mold process into the desired shape.
This is the most common material used in a space vessel for bulkheads, overheads and deck plating. It is also used on a ship's interior support beams because of its high strength.
Despite its high strength, the alloy is susceptible to impacts from tight, high energy or temperature objects, such as a phaser bullet.
