Ethera's Ethereal Extravaganza Session 1 Recap
General Summary
Dressed to impress and ready to relax Nox Vagi undergoes the Sorcerer's special assignment, to meet a secret informant during Ethera's Ethereal Extravaganza. One night of business and two nights of relaxation, the group starts off strong by devouring Hors d'oeuvres and knocking back a few drinks to loosen up before the dancing commenced. Quies managed to catch the attention of an Aasimar by the name of Arcold, a doctor and alchemist who took up residency within Pandesmos. With the night coming to a close the informant finally arrives and requests a dance to begin the trade. It didn't take Xanthe long to realize the man behind the mask is the infamous James Lupin, a thief whom Xanthe has had several unfortunate encounters with in the past. After the exchange Lupin snuck away from the dancing early to retreat to his room. Nox Vagi thought it best to follow him to see what more they could learn. During the exchange within Lupins room a mystery Tiefling brandishing a revolving pepperbox attempted to assassinate Lupin before the conversation had ended. In a flash of black smoke Lupin retreated in to a hidden passageway within the tower's walls, the mystery woman followed in suit. Nox Vagi following after them fortunate it that the mystery woman set off most of the traps on her way in, up until she triggered a pitfall trap and was sent off someplace else entirely. Taking care not to set off the rest of the traps on their way through they managed to wake one of the Tower Guardians, they now find themselves almost weaponless face to face with an Emerald Golem.
