BoozyDupes

BoozyDupes (also known as BrandyDupes and BevvyDupes) are small, chalky white tablets that, when wet, begin to emit the strong scent of alcoholic beverages. These pills have little to no effect on one's physical condition, neither do they have any particular significant taste. They were solely developed in W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. labs for use in virgin cocktails (non-alcoholic drinks) to lend the smell of hard beverages to the air around the glass and the breath of its consumer.
Many operatives use these concoctions when they intend to get another individual drunk in order to compromise them or gather information without clouding their own judgement by inebriating themselves with real alcohol. On some occasions, to appear drunk, an agent will directly chew one of the pills with no accompanying liquid. This amplifies the scent on their breath, but eating the tablet straight is known to cause a mildly unpleasant aftertaste. The charky nature of the tablets will also often result in a dry throat and the urge to drink water.

Manufacturing process

W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. scientists have gone through the rigorous process of developing various scents of alcoholic beverages and wrapping them up into harmless tablets that dissolve in liquids. After much hard work and dedication, the teams have created several smells, often distributing them in multipacks for agents to use as a quick fix when out and about unsure of which drink will be chosen aforehand. Most popular is the generic scent that can vaguely pass for any liquor, especially when near a multitude of other real liquors, such as in a bar, club, or casino setting.

Significance

BoozyDupes are mainly used by agents who are aware of their inability to 'hold their liquor'. They are also prescribed to those who have been known to get drunk easily in the field and make consequential mistakes on duty. Though rare, some spies decide (during employment or, often, beforehand) to avoid consuming alcoholic beverages altogether. Such personal, cultural, or religious causes for utilizing the tablets are relatively less popular, but they do cover a solid portion of personnel who regularly engage the technology.

He uses these slick tricksters to appear suave while sipping virgin martinis and downing shots of soda water. He can feign a little tipsy, but he's still "all there".
Huh. Now that I think about it, how crazy he acts when he's sober, if that's what he calls "all there", I wonder how the guy would behave if he actually got drunk...
...no. Nuh uh. I don't think that's something anyone needs to happen. I'm glad he doesn't drink. We could all be in big trouble if he did. Who knows what he'd do? I sure as heck don't wanna find out. It would certainly be a huge disaster.

BoozyDupes are in mass production and are quite popular throughout the organization. There have also been speculations of others outside the organization using a similar technology. These tablets are made readily available to every operative who carries out tasks in the field. Even still, they are not always utilized. Many agents choose to drink real beverages with alcoholic content even when in the presence of opposing, hostile, or questionable forces.
