"Is this thing on?" I ask the air,
as words appear on paper there.
My fingers type, the words flow out.
My mind does rush, my heart does shout.
I know not really what to do,
but prose calls out to me and you.
Though hectic life and busy days
have caused a falter in my ways.
My New Year's goals have faded past--
so much for plans. They did not last.
I must slow down and try to breathe,
but something urges me to leave.
Nevertheless, I'll stay and be.

Hmmm... perhaps I am not able to duplicate the problem for one of the following reasons:
A. Maybe our wifi connection speeds are different?
B. Maybe I don't have as much data stored up in my world as you?
C. Maybe the issue is something else on the page other than the TOC, such as excessive CSS use?
D. Maybe your computer differs from mine in RAM or other memory?
I have seen "Waiting for Facebook.com" or "Waiting for TikTok.com" before. It isn't something on your computer. These are things embedded into World Anvil's site. I saw it a long time ago and I don't remember where or when, but it cleared up quickly where I didn't need to report a bug. It was just a bit amusing to see. You can also see that TIKTOK etc is embedded by using Inspect Element on the page. Perhaps that's how I saw it.
Anyways, your pages took a little time to load up, but they loaded for me and I am able to fully view them, navigating around with no problem. As I said, I'm thinking the issue may be one of my suggestions above.
Nevertheless, I understand your frustration and the fact that you don't feel the desire to attempt at the issue in other avenues. God bless and much success to you with your worldbuilding.
