These yeast donuts will need to rise for a couple hours. Then the donuts can be dropped into heated oil and fried until they double in size. The oil should be allowed to drain from the donuts, then the donuts should be drizzled with honey. They can be dusted with cinnamon, crushed walnuts, or sesame seeds depending on preference and available ingredients.
Manufacturing process
The dough needs to be gently mixed and allowed to rise until it has doubled in size and has bubbles forming on the surface. With wet hands the dough should be gently formed into balls and dropped into heated oil. The fried dough should reach a golden brown color before being removed and allowed to drain. The donuts should be served immediately.
