Details

The roguish starfarers of the cosmos. Aces seem to make luck a measurable value. The term "Ace" actually originates from a legendary hero in the past but is now a term used to describe anyone who seems to achieve the impossible with the aid of a special tool. An Ace dedicates their time to mastering a single object. They get so good at using this object that it's like an extension of their very being.   You can find Aces throughout space, but not due to being common rather it's a result of the legend they carry with them. It's their legend that brings them allies and enemies. Some Aces are master pilots who make flying a ship look like taking a stroll. While other Aces never miss a shot with their lucky sidearm. These skills can inspire jealousy and admiration, but most of all infamy. The people of space rarely forget a run-in with one of this class.

Class Skills

Every Ace has a specific set of skills and receives the following skill increases because of them.

Iconic Item

This is the iconic tool that aids you in creating your legend.   Select an item from the Equipment List with the "Weapon" type. The item can't have the "large" type. Add the item to your equipment. Give the item a unique name, this is required for your legend.   Any roll you make using your Iconic Item is at advantage and receives the Icon Bonus no matter what skill is used. Check below for the bonus value.   If you would ever lose your Iconic Item you may choose a new item to become your iconic item, the previous item loses all benefits. To do this you must succeed on a roll while using it and have it in your possession for 24 hours.   Your Icon Bonus increases depending on your level.

Living Legend

Type: Reaction, Movement, Buff
Sometimes you just need a little luck to escape a tricky situation.   As a Reaction, when you are dealt damage you add your Charisma score to your Hit Points and may move up to 10ft.  

Doing the Impossible

Type: Reaction, Buff
The Impossible just became possible.   As a Reaction, when you make a roll, after knowing the outcome, you may change the result of the dice rolled to any number on each die, to potentially change the outcome.   You may perform this reaction a limited number of times per day depending on your level.
