Armor & Clothing

Armor and Clothing in Secrets of Sol give creatures additional hit points to their maximum. This is because hit points are the amount of damage a creature can take before taking serious injury.

Clothing

Clothing generally doesn't increase a character's maximum hit points by much but is a necessity for everyone.   The type of clothing determines how much the character's maximum hit points increase. A creature can wear clothing and armor at the same time but can only wear one outfit of clothing at a time.
Type Hit Point Increase Price Weight
Casual +4 4 c 4 lb
Utility +6 8 c 5 lb
Luxury +2 10 c 3 lb
Combat +8 15 c 7 lb
Environmental Depends 20 c 6 lb

Armor

Armor is a general term that applies to apparel worn above clothing by creatures. Armor is built to protect and defend against certain dangers. It can be worn above clothing.   Each piece of armor takes a certain amount of time to put on based on its size. Size is in reference to how much of the body it covers.
Size Time to Put On
Small 30 seconds
Medium 1 minute
Large 5 minutes
The price of armor varies greatly. This is a result of the rarity and weight of each.
