Mass Driver Defensive Array

Technology developed and maintained by the Ong Dynasty to protect its borders. Using guidance tech held top secret by Ong scientists, these defensive relays were constructed around the common drill points of the neighbouring systems in order to deter and potentially shoot down any craft that entered Jinzhou without permission or cause.
Each array consisted of 16 mass driver cannons in a ring around a control node, and two arrays were set up around each drill point. While each could be fire individually and without the need for the control node, their coordination is what allowed for their incredibly efficiency. Their guidance technology was advanced enough that these arrays could rip apart unprepared cruiser sized ships in moments.
Similar defensive arrays have been set up in the past in other systems, especially those set up around Asmaran Federation drill points, but none were known for their precision and destructive power like those created by the Ong.
