The pre-silence empire who controlled human space and exerted the authority of the Terran governments over the far-flung colony worlds. It fell apart when the Scream ravaged the galaxy, their reliance on Psitech for transportation of necessary resources such as food and electronics causing their infrastructure to collapse almost instantly.
They are survived by every colony that managed to survive the darkness of the Silence, and while their technology is mostly lost, remnants of their society can be found in nooks and crannies all over the sector.
