Goblin
Goblins are short, monkey-like humanoids whose origins are completely distinct from other Sekaian humanoids. While most originate from the cradle of sapient apes known as Kakajua, goblins are the result of an experiment of the draconic god of the Isle of Malassai, in essence a refined version of their bulkier, less intelligent cousins, the Lizard-Monkeys (Avahi lacerta fero), chimerised with their felid rivals, the Magicats.
Equipped with protractible black claws, scaly, armoured skin, a compact form that can take terminal velocity drops, and surprisingly powerful leg muscles for leaping, along with pyromancy and cryomancy adapted for throwing fireballs or icicles, goblins are tough for their size, ready for any adversity. As long as a high ground exists, they'll rush to claim it and use their superior eyesight to see anything coming.
Additional Information
Facial characteristics
Goblins have little to no facial hair owing to their scaly skin, but head hair that is present is thick, and in males can sometimes manifest as beard-like manes. Their noses tend to be prominent and their ears are long and pointy. Their eyes are large, wide, and extremely acute at sight.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Despite originating in Malassai, goblins were quick to spread to Jaranar, Elarond and Arkhera, however in Elarond, they were swiftly killed due to the locals considering them to be daemonic monsters. They have gone on to thrive in Arkhera.
Average Intelligence
Goblins are sapient, but generally impulsive and defensive. They have a hard wired instinct to climb and find the high ground, and so often are considered bizarre, height obsessed creatures.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
On Malassai, goblins and humans have reached a symbiotic accord, and elsewhere, such as Arkhera, goblins have integrated with other humanoids. In Jaranar they are a despised species, hunted down by the local humans, but despite this, goblins of all ethnicities seem to take hardship as a challenge rather than an affront, no doubt ingrained into them by their draconic creator.
