Magaral Kaz'kal (a.k.a. Mag)
Magaral Kaz'kal is the innocent younger bastard of the current Lady of the Flowerfields, Gelth Kazaros. The result of a deadly tryst with an immigrant forest elf named Tatsumi who Gelth Kazaros sadly found 'novel', she is short for her age and suffers from Orphaned Forest Elf Syndrome, a mental illness caused by having the instincts of the usually-empathic forest elves without the thread necessary to provide the mild telepathy most forest elves have.
Despite her confusion regarding others' thoughts and feelings, she's grown up with as happy a childhood as one beneath Gelth Kazaros's roof can be. While she's vaguely aware of the horrific 'games' her mother plays and forces her Aunt Elrax and big half-sister Gelax to participate in, she's not been forced to take part. It's not due to her age; Lady Gelth wanted her to participate the moment she had her first blood, but her Aunt Elrax has consistently worked to protect Magaral from the rest of her immediate family's sinister influence.
She's extremely close to her aunt, and despite Elrax's gloominess, Magaral admires her more than anyone. Aside from Elrax, she takes solace in her tutor, the goblinese Wisdom Helagg, his novice, Misuki, an immigrant forest elf much like her late father, and her extended family, the Foenaxases. Her cousin-once-removed, Mor'kha, has acted as a religious mentor and music instructor, teaching her how to play the harp and sing both traditional Madaki Renewalist hymns and more contemporary Common Tongue Arkheran hymns. She's seen as a fun, if odd big sister figure to her second cousins, the gaggle of children Mor'kha has had with Solyx Solerro, and while the eldest son, Morganix, has a pronounced crush on her, she has sights set on older men; she's obsessed with her other cousin-once-removed, Irikhos, considering him handsome and kind.
Her mother and half-sister, however, are major sources of daily misery. Lady Gelth regularly makes remarks about Magaral's softheadedness, and how she's incapable of thinking like a grown-up, which is why her Aunt Elrax protects her. This is likely an attempt to goad her into 'proving her wrong' by playing Gelth's twisted games like a 'real grown up', but so far, with Elrax's guidance, she hasn't fallen for it.
Gelax, meanwhile, was once amicable with Magaral, but ever since Elrax failed to protect her from Gelth incorporating her into her games while she better protected Magaral, she's grown resentful. Magaral wants to be Gelax's friend, but is regularly rewarded with bitter insults, sexual remarks, and occasionally, molestation. It's got to the point where Elrax has installed locks on Magaral's bedroom door, though Gelth regularly unlocks them, believing that Gelax's behaviour will better groom Magaral for her eventual participation in their 'games'.
Despite the monstrosity that surrounds her, Magaral remains positive and hopeful, partly through ignorance and protection, partly through sheer determination. Though others may identify her as a victim, a musician, a protectorate or a pawn, to herself she's a growing girl who likes playing the harp and eating rose jellies.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Magaral is a short girl even for her age, owing to her forest elven blood. She's generally undeveloped externally as expected of an elf her age, though she's had her first blood. Her face still has some puppy fat, but she has the generic Kazaros features; golden eyes, a straight-bridged nose, and slightly shorter than usual ears, with one notable exception; instead of golden blonde, her hair is strawberry blonde.
Mag prefers to wear long, modest dresses, but usually in colours completely unaffiliated with her house, such as blue-white. She's quite fond of aprons due to her regular involvement 'helping' (watching and salivating) the Kazaros kitchen staff make rose jellies. Recently she's been going through a ballgown phase, attempting to find outfits that fit a harpist's performance.

Magaral is a Peregrinian Renewalist with occasional thoughtless inclusions of Arkheran Pantheism's tenets. This is because her two most positive influences in her life, her 'Aunty' Mor'kha Foenaxas and her actual Aunt Elrax are a Renewalist and a Harvester devotee respectively. She has learnt Madaki for Renewalist hymns, which she uses to accompany her harp music, and generally has great respect for Renewalist culture, especially their music, though she seems to fail to grasp the monotheistic aspects of it.
