Aasis

Aasis is the goddess of illusion.

Description

Most often Aasis is felt or heard amidst thick mist, rather than being seen directly. When she does appear, she takes a feminine form in an iridescent gown and heavy veil which obscures most of her figure and her face. It's said that she has the power to change her appearance freely, and when she deigns to lift her veil before a mortal she will often reveal the face of someone they know, or knew, or will soon meet.

Personality

Aasis is a free spirit who seems to revel in illusions, deception, and the resulting confusion. All of life is a series of enjoyable pranks for her, though she means them in a lighthearted way. She does not wish genuine suffering or harm on anyone, and actively works to ensure that nothing ever gets too out of hand.

Relationships

Aasis is on friendly terms with Seishiro. She greatly enjoys his style of deception and the trouble that arises as a result of his scheming. Though she would never directly offer her aid to him or ally herself officially, she has been known to work behind the scenes to drag out the chaos as long as possible.

Holidays

• Festival of the Golden Moon is a day to dress up in costumes and celebrate Aasis.
