Toulenne is the goddess of misfortune. She delights in seeing how others react to poor fortunes and picks her targets seemingly at random. Rather than sparing the most worthy or devout, she instead favors those who amuse her. This has earned her the title of the Fickle Goddess.

Toulenne derives special joy from bringing misfortune to those blessed by Lotz. The two often struggle over the fate of individuals or groups, forcing them to endure dramatic highs and lows in quick succession. As long as Toulenne is sufficiently entertained by the resulting struggles she is usually content to let the goddess of luck win out in the end.
