Cactus Bloom Soup

The Cactus Bloom Soup is a delicacy renowned for its magnificient blend of flavours and magical essense. The was not created by the common races; it was created by the masterful Djinn Rafiq, in response to a wish from the adventurer Nasir Patel. The recipe has since been passed down through generations. In fact it has passed through so many generations it has changed significantly from the original, the purest line of Patel's still search to this day for the first recipe.
When the Djinn created the first Cactus Bloom Soup he conjured a pot that looked of simple wrought iron but it was near weightless and indestructible. He then revealed an oasis to Nasir which held the rare cactus azurebloom; he plucked the bloom of the cactus, set it aside, and began extracting the flesh of the cactus for the soup base. He wrangled up several other herbs growing in the area and brought the pot to a simmer, finally placing the bloom on top and chanting the words:

Stars reflect in liquid pure
Secrets old and deep
Bring forth magic true and sure
In this brew we steep
By the might of the scorching sun
By the chill of the nights embrace
Grant this soup your eternal grace

As the azurebloom melted into the pot a mouthwatering aroma rose. Nasir, captivated by the ritual couldn't resist taking his first sip. It was delightful, hydrating, restorative, filling, and left him with an out of body experience. In fact, for a moment he visited the Astral Plane and glimpsed upon his divine god. From this point onwards he carefully recorded the recipe for this soup and with its powers he was able to form a settlement in the oasis that it was founded.
