Lumaerian
Lumaerian has only been known to current civilization as a secret language. No one has fully discovered the full meaning of it, many have spent entire lifetimes researching the language but haven't been able to translate all known documents. The current scholars researching the language are located at Mirador Fortress, they have founded several technological advances hidden within texts written in Lumaerian.
The most recent developments from the scholars of the Seiðrheim Sentinels have discovered that when applying certain Lumaerian phrases to items using the Runecarving technique they provide magical powers of much higher potency. It may be possible that the magic within the world can be accessed much more directly through Lumaerian than any other language, because of this learning the language has been set to high priority by the Sentinels.
Lumaerian was the language used by the ancient civilization that inhabited the world before mysteriously disappearing. The largest collection of Lumaerian texts can be found in the ancient library near the summit of The World Spire. Gannum, Champion of the Silver, who lives near the library is another avid researcher of the language, he is obsessed with learning everything about their culture.
There is one other elite group of scholars attempting to decipher the entire language, they are a group of gnomes that uncovered a buried library deep in one of their caves. They have advanced to the point of building little magical robots that are capable of scanning through texts and writing down any unknown words for the gnomes to further research. This increases their research time significantly as they only need to read from what they don't know rather than spend the time finding it themselves.
