Dullahan.

Undead warriors brought back by determination or vengeance, a dullahan with its head is a far cry from the merciless riders stories portray them as. Once their head is found, they regain some semblance of the former personalities they had in life, just with a.... new perspective on things, so to speak.   Ability Score Increases. Choose one of the following:
(a) Choose any +2; choose any other +1
(b) Choose any +1; choose any other +1; choose any other +1
Creature Type. You are an Undead.
Size. You are Medium or Small. You choose the size when you select this race.
Speed. Your speed is 30 feet.
Unusual Nature. Your determination to escape death manifests in the following benefits:
  • You have advantage on saving throws against disease and being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage.
  • You don't need to eat, drink, or breathe.
  • You don't need to sleep, and magic can't put you to sleep. You can finish a long rest in 4 hours if you spend those hours in an inactive, motionless state, during which you retain consciousness.
  • Ancestral Legacy. If you replace a race with this lineage, you can keep the following elements of that race: any skill proficiencies you gained from it and any climbing, flying, or swimming speed you gained from it. If you don't keep any of those elements or you choose this lineage at character creation, you gain proficiency in a skill of your choice, as well as the Reborn to Ride feature. ( Reborn to Ride. You have proficiency in the Animal Handling skill. Staring at 5th level, you may cast the Find Steed spell with this trait. Once you cast the spell with this trait, you can't cast the spell with it again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level. ) Beheaded. Despite the physical separation between your head and body, they still remain bound to each other in mystical ways. Gain the following effects:
  • You are immune to effects that would behead you (such as a vorpal weapon).
  • Your head is considered a Tiny object with a Strength and Dexterity score of 8, an AC of 9 (unless your armor includes a helmet, then it uses your AC), and a speed of 10 feet. It otherwise shares your stats, including your HP, and it shares its actions and reactions with your body. While being held by your body, it is treated as a part of you (though you can still be disarmed of it).
  • When you cast a spell, you can choose if the spell originates from your head instead of your body unless it requires a melee weapon or spell attack.
  • Your body has blindsight out to a range of 10 feet, and you see and hear normally through your head. If you cannot see or hear your body, it is considered blinded and deafened to its surroundings beyond the range of its blindsight.
  • Your body performs somatic components of spells, while your head performs verbal ones. Material components can be performed by either.
  • Your head and your body are considered the same creature, including for effects that target one or multiple creatures and aoe effects. Effects on one automatically transfer to the other, regardless of distance, and an effect that would hit both your body and your head only affects you once (use the stats for your body).
  • You always know the distance and direction to your head or body unless it is on another plane of existence, or if it is blocked by an effect that prevents divination magic.
