Cardus Hishu

High advisor to Taras Shiroko  and husband to Mina Hishu . He has worked within the upper echelons of government since his early adulthood under Inna. Through the years, he has worked in the Departments of Defense, State Affairs, Public Health, and Foreign Affairs in some capacity. Olha was the first to take him as an advisor and he remained in that position with Andriy. His goal is to keep the empire at peace and the court running smoothly. He believes in the monarchy and their right to rule and sees his task as support. Because of how close he was with Andriy, he figured out what was happening, but could do nothing about it. With Taras on the throne, his proximity makes him an easy target for abuse, but Taras does like him and will listen to his advice on various matters, trusting him because his mother did. He becomes Erasure ’s first ally in stopping Taras’s descent as he wants the country to continue to function. The fact that he has seen Taras grow up has also made him very protective, seeing Taras almost like a grandson.
