Dinost Lidebe
Older brother of Ioran Lidebe and high priest of the Shiroko sect of Bolugama. Like his brother, he was brought up worshipping the Shiroko Dynasty. Because the Shiroko are descended from a Dea, they are therefore in their proper position as head of the empire. He believes that the three failed rebellions are also proof that the family is meant to be in charge. His ascension to the top of the priesthood came from the retirement of the previous high priestess, with Empress Olha’s permission. He remained there through Olha’s death and then into her younger brother, Emperor Andriy’s, reign. While he has no formal power in court, he is often around the royal family as part of his duty is to act as their liaison to their ancestral spirits housed inside Bolu. He is extremely devout and subservient to them, more so than previous high priests and his brother finds issue with that, feeling that part of the duty of the high priest is to guide as well as worship. He and Taras Shiroko have been lovers, something that has only worked to solidify his emotional need to see the emperor as divine.
