Karna

The human spymaster of the Eoion Empire . While Taras Shiroko  creates many Ilyannoi  to act as his spies, he also retains an assortment of human spies who are meant to infiltrate business alliances, military levels, the Yzel Kingdom's court, and the empire at large. 
Karna was originally a slave who had gained a good level of following within a large farm of a lord. He began spying on the other slaves for favor, but was found out and chased off of the property. From there, he traveled toward Niuus , using his ability to weasel out information to his advantage, collecting a new group of spies, one reaching farther than just one farm, until he was captured by guards and brought to the palace on charges of leading a revolt on the farm, accusations brought by his former master. Taras intervened and instead of executing him, knew of his existence through his Ilyannoi spies and only punished him. During that instance, Karna accidentally revealed his penchant for masochism, something Taras quickly grew to enjoy. Both formed a symbiotic relationship surrounding pain and Karna became loyal in seeking it out, finding Taras to be the one who could give him the pain he wanted.
