The Scholar's Conglomerate

The Scholar's Conglomerate is a group of high class knowledge seekers. Many members are nobility or upper ranking citizens, as it usually costs money to be considered an official member. However, if someone shows that they are discerningly intelligent, they may gain the favor of the organization, and be brought in anyways. Being a member of the Scholar's Conglomerate is a big deal, and outsiders will look on them with awe for simply wearing their insignia. There are, however, very few rules regarding the ethics and morals of the members. There are a lot of insider conflicts going on in this powerful organization.
