Purpose / Function
A public meeting place, a residence for the Monarch Elect and their family, a historical monument, a refuge in times of war, an art piece, and a symbol of diplomatic relations.
Alterations
The Palace is altered frequently. Sometimes to celebrate the election of a new monarch, sometimes as a way to welcome a large wave of immigrants into the city-state, sometimes just when enough people express fascination with a new architectural style; new construction on the Palace is seen as indicative of positive growth and relations for Amity City as a whole.
Architecture
The architectural styles of the Palace include but are not limited to Art Nouveau, Baroque, Chinese Imperial, Gothic, Japanese Castle, Korean Palace, Mughal, Rococo, Spanish Adobe, and Victorian.
History
Originally a small public hall when Amity City was first starting out, it was built onto over time as the city grew and eventually converted, in part, into a residence for the Elected Monarch and their family. Now also considered a beautiful, central showcasing and preservation of the city's changing construction styles both as time passes and people from different parts of the world import their influence.
Tourism
Probably the most popular sightseeing destination in Amity City, guided tours are given of the outside, public rooms, and Gardens.
