Session 23: Esoti Returns

Upon entry to the Radiant Keep, the guards informed you to don cloth masks over your faces to protect yourselves and prevent the spread of the Draconic Plague that has spread to the capital. After you did so, one of the guards confirmed your identity and urged you to meet with Queen Roslyn, who was at the Prismatic Keep atop the hill in the city. You said "sure" and then immediately headed over to the Radiant Aethenum where you spoke with a receptionist about the whereabouts of Esoti. You found them sitting in the cafe, enjoying some Sewer Four-Loco. They greeted you pretty icily but agreed to help you reach the Underdark alive in return for free room and board at Theo’s mansion. Together, you ascended to the archival room and conducted research. You found Esoti’s old journal after discovering they had lost all their memories about their time in the Underdark with Loth and how it appears that they are immortal. Fen also found the inscription to the famed Tablet of Fyre itself which sent Thorns scouring for failed research attempts that others in the past had tried. You uncovered that an artificer named Leon had identified four main fonts of magic that were prominent in Sentius: Thorndale, the Radiant Keep, The Vale, and New Elfington. Thorns turned to Esoti and asked them about Tekkdekk, who suddenly got wary. They revealed that when they awoke with the tablet and the journal they had no memory creating or getting a hold of, Tekkdekk was there, asking for the tablet.
