Xildric Crystals (Zil-drik Crystal)
Xildric crystals are power sources that are refines from the blood of the Forgotten Titan, Xildra. The Fish Lord dwarves kept Xildra imprisoned under the sea, in a chamber cut off from the powers of the oceans. Here, they harvest the titan's blood. In its raw form, the crystallized blood of Xildra is highly volatile, reacting violently to contact, heat, and magic. The Fish Lords invented a lengthy distillation process, using both magic and science, which can stabilize the Xildric Crystals, making them suitable arcanopower sources for most application.
The crystals are usually small, between a 2 and 10 cm. However, there are some examples of much larger crystals, although these were often displayed as art or light sources, and not used as power sources. A single mid-sized Xildric crystal can fully power a mid-sized airship for a day.
Perhaps the most useful properties of refined Xildric crystals are their ability to be recharged, and their ability to grow under the proper circumstances. No actual crystals have been harvested from Xildra since before the Age of Ascendants. Most modern crystals are grown in arcane labs, and charged from other, less-vengeful sources. Popular charging sources are elemental in nature, although techincally, the crystals can be charge from most magical energy sources.
Xildric crystals are highly sensitive to the type of energy stored within, making energy source optimization an important part of artificery and engineering. For instance, Xildric crystals fed with elemental fire generate heat more efficiently than one charge with air, but would be less efficient at moving air to propel airships.
Shards of Xildric crystals are commonly used in person-scale magic devices, such as wands and weapons. Shards of the crystals are often used for bartering, even being preferred over other currencies in several parts of the world. Generally, though, these shards are scavenged, as shard are far less valuable than larger crystals, by weight.

Very cool crystals I love how you describe this used for artificine and enchanting as well as the requirements of hosting different elemental charges and how they work very
