A reunion of old heroes turns sour.

The living three of the four great heroes of Asteroth were given land by the king which each retired to. Many years later, the Baron Mormesk invites his old companions to a reunion at his castle. Duke Jeremy sent his butler in his place. Upon arrival the two old friends decide to go on a hunt, bringing their servants. During the hunt they found a cave of demon worshipers in the middle of a summoning. Killing them all too late, the summon completes, and a devil of great power slays all but one lowly servant. The servant is able to banish the devil, then decided returning alone may get him executed. So, he left, never to return.
